What you’ll end up with
A “Try it on” button on each WooCommerce product page that has a try-on, and an optional “Try it on” badge on the product photo on product and listing pages. Shoppers tap it, see the product on themselves and tap Buy now to add it — or the shade or variation they chose — to the cart. Products without a try-on simply don’t show the button.
1. Create your TryItOnMe store
Start a free trial — 14 days of Pro, no card; afterwards the Free plan, unless you choose a plan.
2. Add your products
Upload your product photos, named by each product’s SKU in WooCommerce (Product data → Inventory → SKU), for example RING-SOL-01.jpg. Drop a whole folder at once; backgrounds are removed automatically and each photo is checked against our photo guide. On paid plans you can also import your catalogue straight from WooCommerce, with names, links and the first photo.
3. Install the plugin
In your TryItOnMe dashboard, open Integration and download the WooCommerce plugin (tryitonme.zip). In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the file, then Install Now and Activate. Open Settings → tryitonme, enter your store id (shown in the dashboard) and save — it says “Connected”. That’s it: no theme files to edit.
The button’s text, colours and the badge come from your dashboard’s widget settings, so changes show on your store straight away.
4. Check the fit
Open a product in the dashboard to see it on a reference face or hand, or use Live Adjust on your own camera. Nudge the size or position, save, and every shopper sees the change.
5. Share it beyond your site
Every product also has a try-on link and QR code for Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and marketplace listings. See virtual try-on on Instagram and TikTok.
FAQ
Is the plugin free? Yes. You pay only for your TryItOnMe plan, and the Free plan costs nothing.
Will it slow my store? The plugin only checks which products have a try-on and places the button. The try-on itself loads when a shopper taps it.
My badge doesn’t find the product photo. Add data-tryon-image to the main product image (or its container) in your theme. It finds the photo by itself on most themes.
Which products work? Glasses and sunglasses, jewelry, watches, makeup, coloured contact lenses, hats and wigs — and clothing through AI photos. See all categories.
