The basics

What is TryItOnMe?

TryItOnMe lets online shoppers try products on with their phone or laptop camera, right from your product page or a link you share — no app, no sign-up, and the camera video never leaves their device. You upload ordinary product photos in your dashboard; we prepare them, add a “Try it on” button to your website and give every product a try-on link.

Which products can shoppers try on?

Glasses and sunglasses; rings, earrings, necklaces, pendants, chains, bracelets and bangles; watches; makeup (lips, eyes, brows, cheeks, base and complete looks); coloured contact lenses; hats; and wigs — all live on the camera. Clothing works through an AI photo: shoppers upload a photo and get one of themselves wearing your garment.

Do I need 3D models?

No. Ordinary product photos are enough — we turn them into try-ons for you. One front photo of a pair of glasses becomes a real 3D frame, lenses and arms included, and flat jewelry photos get 3D depth, shine and metal. Backgrounds are removed automatically, and makeup needs only your shade colours. Already have 3D models (GLB)? Upload those too.

Does the shopper need an app?

No. The try-on runs in the browser on phones and computers, including inside social apps when someone taps a link. Shoppers who’d rather not use the camera can try products on a photo of themselves, or on model photos you provide.

How many products can I add?

As many as you sell. Every plan, including Free, has unlimited products in every category — you pay for how much shoppers use the try-on, never for the size of your catalogue.

How technical is it to set up?

Hardly at all. You use the product photos you already have, and backgrounds are removed for you. On WooCommerce you install a plugin; on any other website you paste one line the dashboard writes for you; and with no website at all you simply share each product’s try-on link. No 3D models, no developer, no app for shoppers.

Is TryItOnMe a good fit for a small or new store?

Yes — that’s who it’s built for. The Free plan is free forever with 100 try-ons a month and unlimited products, so you can find out whether your shoppers love it before you spend anything. When they do, paid plans start at $49 a month with thousands of try-ons included.

On your shop and beyond

How do I add the try-on to my website?

On any website, paste one line of code: a “Try it on” button appears only on products that have a try-on. On WooCommerce, install our plugin — no code. On Shopify, add a snippet to your theme (there’s no Shopify App Store app yet). See integrations.

Do I need a website at all?

No. Every product gets a try-on link and a QR code, and your store gets a try-on page that works as a link in bio. Share them on Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, in emails or marketplace listings — they open straight into the try-on.

Can I add many products at once?

Yes. Upload photos named by product code, in bulk or by folder. On paid plans you can also import your catalogue from a spreadsheet, a Shopify shop or a WooCommerce shop. Prefer not to do it yourself? Our team can prepare your catalogue for you — see pricing.

Can I change how a product sits after it’s live?

Yes, any time. Open Live Adjust, try the product on your own camera, nudge its size, position or tilt, and save — every shopper sees the change straight away. Your own adjusting never counts as a try-on.

Can I see what shoppers tried?

Yes, on every plan: try-ons and unique shoppers, screenshots, clips and shares, Buy now clicks and where buyers went, top products, devices and countries, where shoppers came from, and products missing a try-on — for any date range.

Plans and billing

How does the free trial work?

Every new store gets 14 days of the whole Pro plan, with no card. When it ends, your store moves to the Free plan unless you choose a plan — nothing is deleted. One free trial per website.

Is there really a free plan?

Yes. Free includes 100 try-ons a month, every category and analytics, forever. At 100 try-ons the “Try it on” button pauses until next month, so it never costs anything. Paid plans start at $49 a month.

What counts as a try-on?

One shopper trying one product. Opening the same product again within 10 minutes counts once; each other product counts again. Colours and shades of a product are the same product. Bots and your own adjustments don’t count.

Why do you charge per try-on instead of per product?

Because a big catalogue shouldn’t cost more before anyone uses it. Many try-on tools price by the number of products, which pushes stores to pick only a few. With TryItOnMe every product can have a try-on on every plan, and you pay for real use — which also means the price grows only when your shoppers are engaging.

Will returning shoppers use up my try-ons quickly?

No. A shopper who opens the same product again within 10 minutes counts once, and switching between a product’s colours or shades never counts extra. Bots and your own testing aren’t counted at all.

What if I go over my plan’s try-ons?

Your try-on keeps working. Extra try-ons are billed per 1,000 at the end of the month, up to a monthly spending cap you set (by default, your plan’s price). At the cap the try-on pauses until next month — so there are no surprise bills.

How much does AI clothing try-on cost?

Each AI photo uses one credit, on any plan. Packs are $8 for 100, $40 for 500, $80 for 1,000, $200 for 2,500; credits never expire, and a failed photo gives its credit back.

Who handles payments, invoices and tax?

Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. Paddle takes cards and other payment methods, sends invoices and handles sales tax and VAT. Prices are in US dollars, excluding applicable taxes. Refunds are explained in our refund policy.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Cancel in Plan & billing; your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

For your shoppers

Can shoppers buy straight from the try-on?

Yes. Buy now takes them to the product page or straight into your cart — or to any other place you sell, such as a marketplace shop or a chat. If you list several places, shoppers pick one.

Does it work from Instagram and TikTok?

Yes. Put a product’s try-on link, or your store’s try-on page, in your bio, posts, stories or messages. Shared in a chat or a post, a link shows the product’s picture and name. If an app’s built-in browser blocks the camera, the try-on offers to open in the phone’s browser, copy the link or use a photo instead.

Can shoppers save and share what they tried?

Yes. They can take a screenshot, or hold the button for a 10-second clip that carries your store, the product and its link — ready to save, post or send to a friend for a second opinion.

Can shoppers compare products?

Yes. Put several products in one link and shoppers swipe between them, across categories. They can switch colours and shades inside the try-on too.

Can shoppers adjust makeup themselves?

Yes. They can change where it goes (for example eyeshadow on the whole lid or just the outer corner), how strong it is, liner thickness and how high blush or contour sits. They can keep products on to build their own look, try a complete look you’ve made and buy all of it in one tap, and for foundation and concealer get a suggested shade to start from.

Privacy

Is the shopper’s camera video uploaded or recorded?

No. The live try-on runs on the shopper’s device; the camera video is never uploaded or recorded. The one exception is AI clothing try-on, where the shopper agrees first, their photo is sent to our AI provider to make the image, and the result is deleted after 24 hours.

What do you collect about shoppers?

Anonymous analytics only: try-on events, a random visitor id kept in the browser, device type and approximate country. No names, emails or faces. See privacy & security.
