Why try-on links beat filters for selling
Social apps have their own effects and filters, but building one per product takes time, and a filter doesn’t take anyone to the checkout. A try-on link does both jobs: it opens the live try-on in the browser and ends with a Buy now button.
With TryItOnMe, every product you upload gets a link like:
app.tryitonme.com/tryon/your-store/RING-07
Several products in one link let followers swipe between them:

And your store try-on page — all your products in one place — works as a link in bio:

Where to put your try-on links
- Bio: your store try-on page, or this week’s collection in one link.
- Stories and reels: “Try it on yourself” with a link sticker to the product.
- DMs and comments: when someone asks “would this suit me?”, reply with the product’s link.
- WhatsApp and other chats: links show the product’s picture and name when pasted.
- Marketplace listings and packaging: add the link, or its QR code.
What followers can do in the try-on
- See the product live on their own face, hands or wrist — or on a photo.
- Switch colours and shades, and swipe between products.
- Save a screenshot, or hold the button for a 10-second clip with your store and the product’s link on it — ready to post and tag you.
- Buy now: to the product page, the cart, or wherever else you sell it — a marketplace shop or a chat.
If Instagram’s or TikTok’s built-in browser blocks the camera, the try-on offers to open in the phone’s browser, copy the link, or use a photo — so nobody hits a dead end.
See which posts sell
Add ?src= to a link — ?src=instagram-bio, ?src=tiktok-reel-12 — and your analytics show visits, try-ons and Buy now clicks for each one. On Growth and up, links can use your own web address, such as try.yourstore.com/RING-07.
Do I need a website?
No. Many brands sell mostly through social media and chat. TryItOnMe works without a website: upload your product photos, copy the links, and share them. When you do have a site, the same products get a “Try it on” button there too — see integrations.
